The Luton is the Fylde's max-volume vehicle: removals firms, furniture movers and event-supply operators hire it when cube beats weight. Blackpool's event calendar — the Illuminations from late August to early January and the summer season from Easter to October, peaking July to September — concentrates demand around the Winter Gardens conference centre, the Tower, the Pleasure Beach and seafront venues.

That sharp seasonality is the reason to plan early and consider rolling 28-day terms over a peak block, rather than scrambling for a box van the week of an event.

A Luton runs about 18–20 m³ in a box body under 3.5 t on a category B licence, with a tail-lift option and roughly 800–1,200 kg payload — note that heavy loads can hit the weight limit before the box is full.
